Clinco Waste Management Sdn Bhd (CLINCO) has been providing waste management solutions for over 10 years to 1,000 GP's nationwide under the brand name of Labpro. In January 2015, the company was rebranded as CLINCO to cater further to the needs of the private healthcare market, providing more reliable and trustworthy waste services.

At Clinco Waste Management, our comprehensive waste services ensure that your waste is collected from your doorstep to the Department of Environment authorized waste disposal plants. We prioritize strict controls and other value-added services so that you can have peace of mind knowing that your wastes are compliant with all legislated requirements and that the reputation of your organization is protected.

We are licensed to transport waste that includes human or animal tissue, blood or other body fluids, drugs or other pharmaceutical products, needles, or other sharp instruments, and other potentially hazardous materials that, unless rendered safe, may pose a threat to people who come into contact with them.

Our core competencies are efficient and cost-saving waste services, reliable and timely collection trips, good logistic flow controls, training support, and multiple payment gateways.

At Clinco, we understand the waste management requirements of healthcare providers and aim to provide compliant, timely, and reliable waste collection services, value-added services, and ensure that waste disposal charges do not affect the integrity of your organization.

We offer doorstep waste collection services, and we can tailor our schedules and collection packages to meet your waste disposal needs. We pride ourselves on our reliable collection trips and in-house logistics, ensuring that all the waste is handled strictly in line with legislation and disposed of safely. Besides, we notify you before the collection so you can prepare and monitor your team after the collection, ensuring accurate waste weighing.

Apart from providing waste collection services, Clinco also supplies consumables such as yellow bins, yellow bags, cytotoxic bags, wheeled-bins, and more at subsidized prices. We provide our customers with step-by-step instructions on what can and cannot be disposed of in our products, ensuring you do not face any difficulties.

We serve customers nationwide, including dentists, hospitals, maternity centers, medical clinics, dialysis centers, and private clinics. We also provide waste bins, yellow biohazard-friendly plastic bags, and cable ties for safe disposal of all hazardous materials until they are collected.

We also have highly qualified personnel trained to handle spillage and containment, ensuring that there is no contamination during transportation. Our transportation trucks are specially designed to prevent spillage and are licensed by the Department of Environment, and we undergo yearly inspections to maintain high standards.

Finally, we have partnered with Edgenta Mediserve Sdn Bhd, a clinical waste incineration plant supplier, and one of the concessionaires appointed by the government through the Health Ministry (MoH) to manage clinical waste from public medical facilities. Established in 1983, the company is based in Kuala Lumpur.

In conclusion, Clinco Waste Management Sdn Bhd has established itself as a reliable and trustworthy waste management solution provider, ensuring a holistic approach, strict controls, value-added services and efficient waste management practices.

The second obstacle that CLINCO is facing is the revision of prices by their supplier. Effective on June 15th, 2021, CLINCO will have to increase their rates for services and consumables due to the rising cost of disposing of clinical waste and supplying consumables. Despite not having increased their rates since their establishment in 2015, unforeseen circumstances leave CLINCO no choice but to adjust their rates.

As always, CLINCO is committed to transparency with its customers and has made efforts to mitigate the situation by seeking other licensed clinical waste collection and disposal plants and obtaining a DOE license to store clinical waste on their premises. However, these attempts have been unsuccessful.

To address the growing demand for clinical waste treatment, CLINCO has initiated a project to set up their own clinical waste incinerator in Simpang Pulai on the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. This project will play a significant role in handling the increasing amount of clinical waste generated by private healthcare establishments and other waste generators in the region. The plant will only treat clinical waste with specific waste codes and will follow all Ministry of Health requirements to ensure proper tracking and disposal.

CLINCO anticipates that the incoming clinical waste will continue to increase with the rise in healthcare establishments and people seeking treatment. As such, the project proponent is urgently seeking options to expand their clinical waste treatment plant.
